PostgraduateLearning through discovery
From an unknown protein to a functional hypothesis.
The lab’s substructure-searching tools are used in the BASIL biochemistry curriculum, connecting protein structure analysis with research-based learning.
Students can use a structure to identify candidate motifs, inspect the matching residues and evaluate what the comparison does — and does not — imply about function.
Postgraduate research
Independent questions. Rigorous investigation.
Prospective students are welcome to enquire about projects related to the laboratory’s research themes. Include a brief description of your interests and relevant computational or experimental experience.
Selected public lectures
Explore the ideas behind the tools
